Installation
The Installation Process
- Once you have placed an order with us we will schedule an installer to come to your home or business.
- Once the installer arrives he will conduct a site survey to confirm that signal is available to your residence.
- The installer will then discuss with you where the antenna must be placed to obtain service.
- The antenna will then be mounted on the roof of your home.
- A cable will be run from the antenna and is terminated to the VABB subscriber unit in your home.
Note: The standard installation does not include any in-building cabling, wall fishes or trenching. We can arrange for a custom installation at an additional charge. - The connection is then tested by your installer at the Subscriber Unit and at your computer to ensure the Internet is functioning properly
What we provide:
An antenna will be mounted on your roof or the best location for signal reception
We have 2 types of antennas that are used in the installation process.
- A yagi antenna

We use this type of high performance antenna for most of our installations. It allows a greater gain of radio signal. - A flat panel antenna

This type of antenna is used when the radio signal strength from your broadcaster is very strong. Up to 75 feet of CAT 5/Ethernet cable will run from the antenna to the inside of home or business
- A yagi antenna
- Subscriber Unit that will connect to your wireless router
or directly to your ethernet port.
Wireless routers provide a convenient way to connect a small number of wired and any number of wireless computers to the Internet.
Ethernet Port: This is also know as a RJ45 jack
it is wider than a telephone jack
